Anna Maria Giannini born in Birmingham UK, studied at UCE Birmingham (1995-96), Staffordshire University (1996-99), Staffordshire University (2001-2002). 

Artist, photographer and language tutor.

Selected exhibitions include: East End Collaborations 2002, Queen Mary University, London.  Places and Spaces: The Politics of Location, Chapman Gallery, Salford (2003);  PureScreen 2, Castlefield Gallery, Manchester (2003); Evoke, Harborne Gallery, Birmingham (2004); Revision, Folly Gallery, Lancaster (2004); The Soul of Ended Things, Bywaters, London (2004).  Art/Concept international festival, St. Petersburg, Russia, (2005). 

Her photographic work was included in the Bywaters 2005 calendar. 
In 2006 her video was screened in Vasteras, Sweden.
In 2007 she participated in What are we doing, at Elastic Residence, London. 
She was shortlisted for the Jerwood Drawing Prize and group exhibition at                 
Jerwood Space, London and national tour 2007/08 and participated in the Sketchbook Project, Brooklyn Art Library, New York in 2012 touring USA.
